Re:birth (Japan)

Born in 2013 with the goal of stimulating the Japanese Party Scene after the decline caused by the 2011 Japanese Earthquake, Re:birth Festival is focused on creating an environment where people from different backgrounds can come together and lose themselves in a world full of music and art, free of the stresses of daily life, and hopefully create new relationships that will positively impact their lives and the lives of those around them.

Holding a firm belief that great music exists within all musical styles, Re:birth showcases multiple stages of underground music spanning many genres including Techno/House, Psytrance, Bass Music, Live Bands and much, much more. This musical diversity as well as a keen focus on art, decoration, visuals and lighting, all combined with amazing vibes and the special Japanese party spirit makes Re:birth quite unlike any other festival in the World.

After three amazing and intense editions at an industrial looking seaside park, 2016 saw Re:birth move to it’s new home at the site of an abandoned quarry on the beautiful Nokogiri Mountain in Chiba, Japan. The new location is historically significant as it is one of the oldest quarry’s in Japan and was used since the Edo Period to provide rocks for construction in Tokyo. Featuring a spectacular open rock faced mountain towering over a beautiful lake and surrounded by plush green forrest on all sides, it is just a quick 1.5 hour drive from Tokyo and is convenient to both of Tokyo’s international Airports.
